Avid golfers have an opportunity to tee off in scenic Scotland, on one of two golf theme cruises offered by European Waterways. On May 10 and October 4, the line's Scottish Highlander will make its way from Muirtown to Banavie, calling at a number of special themed locations along the way. Passengers can enjoy rounds at the world-renowned Royal Dornoch Championship (an 18-hold Par 70 golf course), the 18-hole Par 72 Castle Stuart overlooking the Moray Firth inlet and the hidden Fort Augustus golf course, known as the hardest nine-hole golf course in Scotland. The ship will also embark on an exciting yet daring adventure through Loch Ness, where the infamous Loch Ness Monster is believed to live. All-inclusive fares start at $4,090 per person, plus a $900 supplement for golfers which includes pre-booked tee times and transfers to and from the clubs.
