Postcards home from ports

Does anyone know the best way to send postcards back home each port? Should I send them while in each city or can I send them from the ship? And what about postage? Any tips and experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

We still recommend email as means of communication

However, we understand how nice it is to receive a personal message such as a card in your mail from someone who cares and that is very sweet. So the answer to your question - ships can mail your cards but this is significantly slower than the normal way. We recommend to just mail them in the regular mail from the local post office - that would be the best way.
