cover charges? Empty cover charges?

Post by Veivi Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:53 pm

Dear all,I did not yet aboard a cruise, but reading some how-to books now.
One simple question referring to "cover charge" confused me a lot, hope to get your kind answer.
How does the alternative restaurant charge? (presumed 20 dollar for lunch)
Did they charge in addition to your actual expenses on food/drink? Basis on every person include kids?
Can I deem this admission fee?
Tks.

Hello Velvi,

A cover charge means that you will pay on a person per person basis. You have unlimited options from the menu as well as quantity. Drinks are paid separately.

As far as the kids are concerned, the cover charge can be waived depending on their age.
