anytime dinning?

Headed for Alaska on Crown Princess. What is the real story or yea's and nae's if you will of anytime dinning?

Anytime dining is a big advantage in Princess but the thing is that sometimes you have to wait big lines in front of the dining rooms. I personally prefer not to be on anytime dining because I can plan my day and choose table.

The Princess anytime concept is not a bad one. However, achird is right - when too many people sign up for it this can end up in huge cues and possibly ruin your cruise experience. Please note that if you do not chose a dining time you will be placed to anytime dining by default.
