Shampoo Dispensers

Does anyone has any thoughts why there are bulk shampoo dispensers in the Princess staterooms?
What happened with the old way - everyday they used to place new shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms.
I think this is a bit disgusting as who knows who was touching that dispenser before!

Actually this is much more environmentally friendly than replacing the shampoo each day.
Probably you are aware that plastic is not a degradable waste so by using dispensers you are reducing your footprint.
As for the sanitization routine on turnarounds, we are sure that there was a way of cleaning those.
