Foreign currencies?

I am booked for a round trip im Caribbean. Do I need local currencies for the ports we visit or do most places accept USD or should I just stick with paying with my credit card?

All the touristic destinations in Caribbean are accepting US Dollars as a payment.

Most of the big merchants in the Caribbean accept major debit/credit card so you do not need to worry about your currency. Before you approve any transaction, it will show you the current exchange rate.
